Setting up MFA
Step-by-step guide for new users joining a raia org via invite — sign up, verify phone, and enable TOTP authenticator MFA.
If your organization has a license to raia, you can request an invite from your raia admin and sign up without a license key. This guide walks through every step from the invite email to enabling TOTP-based multi-factor authentication.
Before you start
Invite Email
You'll receive an email from raia@raiaai.com with the subject "You've Been Invited to Join an Organization on Raia". Click Join Organization to open the sign-up form.
Sign-up Form
Fill in your details. Use a valid mobile phone number — the next step sends an SMS code to verify it.
Verify Your Phone Number
Enter the SMS code sent to your mobile. If no code arrives, your country may not be authorized for SMS delivery — contact support@raiaai.com.
Install an Authenticator App
Once logged in, if your organization requires MFA you'll be prompted to set up a TOTP password via an authenticator app on your mobile device. Any TOTP-compatible app works — install one before continuing.

Enable TOTP in raia
- With the authenticator installed, click Confirm in the raia app.
- On the next screen, click Enable TOTP Authentication.
- raia displays a QR code — scan it with your authenticator app.
- The authenticator shows a 6-digit code. Click Next in raia and enter that code.
- Save the recovery codes raia provides in a secure location, then click Next.
